In his remarks Dr. Tahir Nawaz highlighted that universities have a crucial responsibility in shaping socially responsible individuals who can contribute to societal development.
The Chief Guest, Syed Muhammad Fuzail Shami, Head of FGRF (UK, Europe & Canada Region) emphasized drawing from his vast experience in community welfare, humanitarian work, and youth development, that social responsibility is not only a moral obligation but a significant Islamic duty. He highlighted various ways students can get involved in community welfare, such as volunteering, environmental care, supporting the needy, and adopting Sunnah-based character in daily life. His speech motivated students to view community service as an act of ibadah and a means to strengthen society.
The seminar was further honored by the presence of Mr. Waseem and Indonesian representatives, who appreciated the university’s initiative in promoting Islamic values through academic platforms. Their participation added an international dimension to the event, fostering goodwill, cultural exchange, and global Islamic solidarity.
